Plant Nursery at Blackberry Blossom Farm
The Plant Nursery at Blackberry Blossom Farm and Campground is unique in many ways. Because we are located in the Cherokee National Forest, we have access to some of the most diverse plants in the southern Appalachian Mountains. Our goal for our businesses is to teach others about these beautiful natives and respect the heritage we are entrusted with.
Although we'd love to share all of the diverse plant life we live among, we know that many of our plants will only survive in the unique soil and weather conditions of these mountains. We will only sell nursery propagated plants that are not endangered and strive to provide the buyer with as much information as they will need to successfully replant these in their own garden.
In the near future we plan to open our gardens for leisurely browsing for people close by who would like to see these plants in their native environment.
As you hike our nature trails, meander through the compass garden, or have a few days of camping beside one of our creeks, we hope you'll be as awe-inspired as we are to nurture these plants and preserve the beauty of their promise.
"When can I purchase these plants?"
Our gardens are expected to be open this spring and we plan to feature heirloom vegetables, flowers and herb plants to begin your own delicious organic vegetable garden.
Berry plants, native trees, shrubs, medicinal herbs, and wildflowers may be available in the nursery in limited supply. Please contact us for specific plants to check on their availability.
